WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) has revealed that Larry Mayer, the Billings Gazette photographer who captured the first image of the CCP spy balloon that traversed Montana and was later downed in South Carolina, will be accompanying him to the State of the Union address this week.

“It is an absolute honor to have Larry Mayer as my guest to the State of the Union this year,” said Rep. Rosendale. “Far too many times, the Biden administration has turned its back on Montanans and Americans as they face the consequences of his failed policies. Having Larry as my guest at the State of the Union tomorrow serves as a reminder to Biden that no matter what he says, he cannot hide the realities of how vulnerable he has made our country.”
