Carroll College hosted its Joy of Giving celebration on November 7, bringing together members of the community to support student scholarships and programs. The event featured two significant matching gift announcements: the Messer family pledged a $100,000 match for the Saints Scholarship Fund, while the Kuntz family offered a $100,000 match for Art Hunthausen’s Boost Scholarship Fund.

The college reported that the Saints Scholarship match was fully met by the end of the evening. In total, contributions during the event reached $321,575 to benefit Carroll students and various college initiatives.

A statement from Carroll College’s Board of Trustees expressed appreciation: “On behalf of the Carroll College Board of Trustees, thank you to everyone who believes in Carroll and gives back to support our students. Your generosity lights the way for the next generation of leaders, scholars, and Saints.”

Donors still have an opportunity to help meet the full match for Art Hunthausen’s Boost Scholarship Fund. Contributions can be made through give.carroll.edu/campaigns/star-art-hunthausen-boost-scholarship-fund.
