Later that day, Downing discussed recent political developments and leadership within Congress. In a tweet he stated, “Covered it all with @MatthewFoldi at @RepublicanStudy media row about @HouseGOP’s biggest accomplishments, @POTUS and @SpeakerJohnson’s leadership. more in @DC_Reporter https://t.co/CUNTkia3hQ” (December 3, 2025).

That afternoon, Downing posted another message containing only three siren emojis and a link: ” https://t.co/4Tn2q673qk” (December 3, 2025).

Downing was elected as Montana’s at-large Representative to the U.S. House in November 2024 and took office in January 2025.
