Governor Greg Gianforte held a roundtable at Montana Tech focusing on critical minerals’ role in national security and job creation. Industry leaders discussed how boosting local mining can reduce reliance on foreign sources.
Governor Greg Gianforte has started his sixth annual tour visiting all 56 counties of Montana. The tour recognizes manufacturers, veterans like Corporal Lyndsay Alt and Sergeant Montana Mansfield-Reynolds, small businesses such as Marks-Miller Post & Pole and Frecker’s Saddlery as well as companies like R.L. Winston Rod Company.
Governor Greg Gianforte met with members of the Missouri River Drug Task Force in Livingston to discuss collaborative efforts against drug trafficking in Montana. Methamphetamine remains a major concern while other substances like heroin are also targeted by law enforcement agencies working together across jurisdictions.
