June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
If you live in the Helena area, there is a chance to learn more about the impact of elder abuse. There will be a presentation today beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Bank of the Rockies in Helena to bring awareness surrounding the threats of elder abuse, fraud, and exploitation. The presentation will be followed by a free hot dog luncheon. Bank of the Rockies is located at 2000 Prospect Ave.

The Montana Republican Party has formally rebuked several members over alleged ties with progressive political groups linked to out-of-state donors. The party’s executive board called on affected candidates to return funds and urged involved officers to step down.
