WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) issued a statement on the Supreme Court ruling to end Biden’s Unconstitutional Student Loan Redistribution Scheme.

“The hardworking people of Montana should not be on the hook for Biden’s $400 billion Student Loan Redistribution Scheme,” said Rep. Rosendale. “I’m pleased by the Court’s decision to side with the taxpayer – it’s simple, if you take out a loan, it’s your responsibility to pay it back.”

On May 24th, Congressman Rosendale voted in favor of the House passed H.J.Res.45 disapproving of the rule submitted by the Department of Education relating to “Waivers and Modification of Federal Student Loans” to block the implementation of Biden’s Student Loan Redistribution Scheme. The President vetoed this resolution on June 7th.
