A local barber isn’t letting the pandemic keep his barbershop closed for long. According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Barbershop and Shaving Parlor co-owner Bryan Kirkland reopened its doors last month.
He said they were met with several waiting clients who didn’t waste time in scheduling their appointments. In fact, the barbershop already had 67 messages from clients who weren’t able to get on the full calendar, he added.
“They were so ready to come back to get their haircut,” Kirkland told the Daily Chronicle.
The barbershop opened its doors just after the previous stay-at-home order from Gov. Steve Bullock, which is in place for roughly a month, was lifted.
While some companies are keeping their doors closed despite restrictions being lifted, Kirkland said they opted to open up again to help save the company and his barbers’ jobs.
“If we would have stayed closed for much longer, we would have had to close our doors completely.”
