Jefferson County had unemployment rate of 3.3% in 2021

Jefferson County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 190 people out of the 12,057 living in Jefferson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Jefferson County has decreased compared to the 3.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Jefferson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.
