DPHHS to honor Montana EMS providers in upcoming awards ceremony

The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is set to recognize emergency medical services personnel from various Montana locations during an awards ceremony. The event will take place at the Capitol Rotunda on Wednesday, May 24, at 10 a.m.

Representatives from the Meagher County Volunteer Ambulance, Montana Medical Transport of Helena and Great Falls, Jefferson Valley EMS, Gallatin County Dispatch, Miles City Police Department, and the Emergency Medical Services for Children Program are expected to attend. Lt. Governor Kristen Juras and DPHHS Director Charlie Brereton will address the attendees.

The ceremony is part of Emergency Medical Services Week, observed from May 21-27, with a special focus on EMS for Children Day on May 24.
