Congressman Matt Rosendale has introduced the University Forced Vaccination Student Injury Mitigation Act, which aims to make higher education institutions responsible for covering medical costs of students who experienced adverse reactions to mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations. The bill threatens withdrawal of federal funds from non-compliant institutions.
The legislation is supported by Congressman Eli Crane and Congressman Bill Posey, along with No College Mandates and Dr. Joseph Marine, a Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Rep. Rosendale stated, “If you are not prepared to face the consequences, you should have never committed the act.” He criticized colleges for requiring vaccines that he claims did not prevent COVID-19 and posed health risks like Guillain-Barre Syndrome and myocarditis.
Rep. Eli Crane added his support, saying no student should bear medical costs due to a mandated experimental vaccine. He emphasized the need to hold institutions accountable for their actions during the pandemic.
Lucia Sinatra, co-founder of No College Mandates, expressed gratitude for Rosendale's initiative. She argued that students were forced into vaccination policies without proper consent or necessity, leading to injuries without recourse until now.
Dr. Joseph Marine commented on the flawed nature of vaccine mandates at colleges. He shared personal efforts to protect his children from unwanted booster shots and called for accountability from institutions that enforced such policies without sound justification.
