The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Butte conferred 292 bachelor's degrees and 32 master's degrees in engineering programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering. Data shows the school gave out 81 bachelor's degrees in petroleum engineering, followed by 70 bachelor's degrees in general engineering and 52 bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering.
The university enrolled 1,844 students for 2017-18, including 1,591 in undergraduate programs and 253 in graduate programs.
