The City of Kalispell's Sewer Department is committed to ensuring a clean and efficient sewer system for our city. In order to maintain the highest standards of service, we will be conducting sewer line cleaning operations.
What to Expect:
Temporary Disruptions: During the cleaning process, you may experience temporary changes to your sewer service. This could include fluctuating water levels in toilets, gurgling sounds from drains, and occasional odors. Please be assured that these disruptions are temporary and are a normal part of the cleaning process.
No Action Required: You do not need to take any specific action during the cleaning process. However, if you experience any of the issues above, they could be related to improper venting of your sewer service. A licensed plumber can provide you with more information. We also recommend keeping toilet lids closed when not in use to prevent any water splashing and ensuring that sink and floor drains are covered to prevent debris from entering your household plumbing.
Assistance and Queries: If you have any questions or concerns during the cleaning operations, please do not hesitate to contact our Public Works office at 406-758-7720.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation as we work to maintain a reliable sewer system for the City of Kalispell. By conducting regular cleaning operations, we aim to prevent blockages, reduce the risk of backups, and ensure the continued health and safety of our community.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we strive to provide the best possible sewer services to you and your neighbors.
