3.5% of citizens unemployed in Lewis and Clark County in 2021

Lewis and Clark County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,315 people out of the 70,340 living in Lewis and Clark County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Lewis and Clark County has remained fairly stable compared to the 3.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Lewis and Clark County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 36,265 people who had a job during that time, 259 were employed in the Armed Forces and 36,006 belonged to the civilian labor force.
