HELENA, Mont. – The City of Helena has invited the public to provide input on the recommendations outlined in the Integrated Solid Waste Master Plan. According to a statement released today, the City, in collaboration with Lewis and Clark County, has been working on developing the master plan since early 2023.
"The City of Helena is seeking public input on recommendations for the Integrated Solid Waste Master Plan," said the spokesperson for the City's waste management department.
The recommendations encompass various services such as recycling, composting, the City Transfer Station, and more. Interested parties are encouraged to share their feedback, which will be welcomed until May 30, 2024.
"Feedback will be accepted until May 30, 2024," the spokesperson reiterated.
Those wishing to participate in the public consultation process can do so by visiting the dedicated website at https://beheardhelena.com/integrated-solid-waste-master-plan. Additionally, individuals can access a copy of the recommendations and a recording of the Public Meeting presentation where the recommendations were deliberated.
"A copy of the recommendations, as well as a recording of the Public Meeting presentation where the recommendations were discussed, are also available on the site," confirmed the spokesperson.
