Chairman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) spearheaded the House of Representatives Veterans’ Affairs Committee Subcommittee on Technology Modernization's review of the Biden administration's budget proposal for the VA’s Office of Information and Technology for Fiscal Year 2025. The evaluation took place in Washington, D.C.

Rep. Rosendale expressed his concerns about potential inefficiencies within the VA budget during his remarks. “I have no doubt there is waste in the VA budget and there is at least 3% of unproductive bureaucracy and padded contracts that should be cut,” he stated. He also highlighted that while Congress has consistently met VA’s budget requests, it should not allocate more funds than what an agency has requested.
