Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) participated in a hearing titled: “Examining the Council on Environmental Quality Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Request and Related Policy Matters” as part of the House Natural Resources Committee Federal Lands Subcommittee. The hearing was held to scrutinize the Biden administration's allocation of taxpayer dollars towards their climate policy.

The Congressman's full remarks can be accessed by clicking on the image below:

“Since the onset of this administration, President Biden has charged the CEQ with pushing his radical climate agenda, often to the detriment of their mission under statute,” said Rep. Rosendale. “Originally conceived to facilitate the NEPA review process, this agency has, under the current administration, expanded into a battering ram used to drive President Biden's goal of "environmental justice." Even Chair Mallory’s chief of staff has acknowledged the unprecedented authority granted to the agency.”
