WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) released a statement regarding his vote in favor of H.R. 8752, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2025. The legislation prohibits funding from being used for the salary and expenses of Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, prohibits funding for sanctuary cities, and prevents the Biden Administration from removing existing border barriers.

"Under Biden and Mayorkas, the current state of our homeland is an absolute catastrophe, and Montanans demand accountability," said Rep. Rosendale. "With an overwhelming number of known terrorists, unvetted illegal aliens, and illegal drugs invading our country, under no circumstance should tax dollars fund the salary of a bureaucrat who clearly can’t do his job. Americans deserve better than this failed administration."
