The City of Helena's Open Lands division has announced plans to conduct slash pile burning on Mount Ascension. The activity is scheduled for Thursday, February 20, beginning at approximately 9:30 a.m. The operation will take place near the Archery Range parking area.
The planned burning is contingent upon approval from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality and may be altered based on weather conditions.
