In-person voting is underway in Gallatin County, and will continue every weekday to Election Day at the Gallatin County Courthouse, 311 W. Main Street, Room 210 in Bozeman.

The early voting polls will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to a press release on the Gallatin County website.

Polls will stay open an additional two hours on Nov. 3 for Election Day, closing at 8 p.m., according to the release. Same-day registration will also be available on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The county is urging in-person voters to try to make it to the polls for early voting in a bid to minimize crowding on Election Day, according to the release. Crowding and long lines are of particular concern in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Disabled voters can call ahead at 582-3060 in order to arrange accommodations, according to the release.

Those who have requested absentee ballots can either return them by mail or hand them in at multiple locations across the county through the close of polls at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
