Granite County Public Health: Animal Rabies, Montana

Already in 2022, we have 5 confirmed cases of animal rabies.  It is important to remember to treat all bite situations as possible rabies exposures.  If you have been bitten by an animal or had an encounter with a bat, please contact your local public health department to see if you need shots to prevent rabies. Learn more about rabies here: https://dphhs.mt.gov/publichealth/cdepi/diseases/rabies.
