WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), visited with representatives from the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Two representatives from the group, Christopher Richard and Anton Johnson, came to D.C. from the Treasure State.
The group discussed veterans’ mental health, the importance of receiving treatment, and improving employment opportunities for veterans.
Christopher and Rep. Rosendale had previously spent time in Montana together on Rep. Rosendale’s ranch in Glendive during deer season.
“It was so great to see Christopher make the trip from Lewistown to Washington today to advocate for our veterans with the WWP,” said Rep. Rosendale. “I enjoyed our discussion about what Congress could do to ensure our nation's heroes receive the health care and resources they deserve!”
