WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) strongly criticized the Biden administration's new electric vehicle mandate set for 2030. In a statement, Rep. Rosendale expressed his concerns, stating, "This recent announcement by the Biden administration is overreaching, unnecessary, and will be excessively costly to all those who wish to buy a reliable vehicle in the future."
Rep. Rosendale further criticized President Biden's motives, alleging, "Biden’s move is rooted in a ploy to funnel billions of dollars to his radical Green New Deal friends in forms of subsidies at the taxpayer's expense, all while crippling our auto industry and continuing war on American energy."
The Congressman concluded by condemning the proposed mandate, declaring, "This proposed rule is a national disgrace, and Biden must withdraw this effort immediately."
