Rep. Rosendale Applauds the Passage of Bill to Honor Montana’s Last Pearl Harbor Survivor

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) made the following statement after the U.S. Senate passed Montana Senator Steve Daines’s (R-MT) bill to rename the clinic of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Butte, Montana, as the Charlie A. Dowd VA Clinic in honor of Charlie Dowd, Montana's last Pearl Harbor survivor.

"Charlie Dowd was an American hero and remarkable Montanan who put his life on the line to defend our great nation during World War II. His legacy deserves to be honored, admired, and preserved," said Rep. Rosendale. "I applaud the Senate for passing this bill, and I urge the House to do the same!"
