Drenda Niemann | Lewis and Clark Public Health
We’ve spent the better part of the last year highlighting some individuals and teams on our social media from all around Lewis and Clark Public Health.
The final employee we’re spotlighting this year probably doesn’t need an introduction, but we’re giving her one anyway.
Drenda Niemann is the health officer at Lewis and Clark Public Health. If the rest of LCPH is considered a ship, then Drenda is its captain. She keeps LPCH heading in the right direction, helping to skirt around potential issues, and keeps us sailing through calm, clear waters. There’s an occasional storm, but nothing she can’t handle.
Okay, enough of the ship metaphors! Drenda, why are you passionate about working at LCPH?
“I am passionate about this community and feel a great sense of pride as the leader of Lewis and Clark Public Health. I am privileged to work with incredible staff within the health department as well as collaborating with so many remarkable community partners to improve and protect the health of residents throughout the county. As hard as this work is sometimes, we play a vital role in creating a healthy environment where we all can live, work, play, and grow old. Seeing the positive impacts we make every day in people’s lives is humbling and gratifying! I’m looking forward to another great year serving county residents with high-quality public health services.”
