Rep. Rosendale Votes Against D.C. Cartel Funding Scheme

Feb 29, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) chose to vote against H.R. 7463 - Making further continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2024. The Continuing Resolution has been described as another extension of Nancy Pelosi’s budget and Joe Biden’s policies.

In response to his decision, Rep. Rosendale expressed his frustration with the current situation in Congress, stating, "I've been telling you for quite some time now that Congress is completely broke. Here we are after only two short days of work in Washington D.C., Congress passed another CR to fund government for another six days because they haven't been able to pass the 12 appropriation bills to fund government transparently and responsibly, so hopefully, we're going to be able to get that work done before an expiration come for funding yet again."

Rep. Rosendale's stance against the funding scheme highlights his concerns regarding the lack of transparency and responsible budgeting in the government.
